Effects of seed soaking with abscisic acid on physiological characteristics of turnip

    目的 研究不同浓度ABA浸种对芜菁种子萌发及生长的影响,为芜菁品质形成及逆境生理研究提供参考。
    方法 以芜菁为试验材料,用不同浓度(0、1、5、10、20、40、80、160 μmol/L)ABA浸种后播种于种植盘,测定芜菁种子萌发、生长生理指标及基础营养品质指标,并进行隶属函数分析。
    结果 (1)ABA浸种对芜菁种子萌发有明显抑制作用,且呈浓度依赖效应,160 μmol/L时发芽率仅有14%;(2)叶片伸长生长变缓,叶片类胡萝卜素含量较对照有所提高。(3)1 μmol/L ABA浸种对芜菁肉质根球形指数和经济系数影响显著;10 μmol/L ABA浸种后叶片可溶性蛋白含量、肉质根维生素C含量最高;20 μmol/L时肉质根可溶性蛋白含量最高。
    结论 外源ABA对芜菁种子的诱导可以抑制芜菁种子萌发,进而影响其幼苗伸长生长,芜菁的植株及肉质根的基础营养品质也受到影响。

     

    Abstract:
    Objective The effects of different concentrations of ABA soaking on seed germination and growth of turnip were studied to provide reference for the quality formation and stress physiology of turnip.
    Method Turnip ( Brassica rapa L. subsp. rapa) seeds were soaked with different concentrations ( 0, 1, 5, 10, 20, 40, 80, 160 μmol/L) of ABA and then sown on the planting plate. The germination, growth physiological indexes and basic nutritional quality indexes of turnip seeds were determined, and the membership function analysis was carried out.
    Results (1) The germination of turnip seeds was significantly inhibited by soaking with ABA in a concentration-dependent manner, and the germination rate was only 14% at 160 μmol/L. (2) Leaf elongation growth slowed down and the carotenoid content of leaves was higher than that of the control. Seed soaking with (3) 1 μmol/LABA had a significant effect on the spherical index and economic coefficient of turnip fleshy roots. The soluble protein content of leaves and the vitamin C content of fleshy roots were the highest after 10μmol/LABA soaking. The soluble protein content of fleshy roots was the highest at 20 μmol/L.
    Conclusion The induction of exogenous ABA on turnip seeds can inhibit the germination of turnip seeds and thus affect the elongation and growth of seedlings, and the basic nutritional quality of turnip plants and fleshy roots is also affected.
