Abstract:
【Objective】 To comprehensively understand the current application status of microbial agents in Xinjiang's characteristic agriculture, analyze existing problems, and propose scientific and rational promotion strategies.
【Methods】 The study extensively reviewed relevant literature on microbial agents in the agricultural field from the past decade and conducted in-depth field investigations across various prefectures in Xinjiang to obtain first-hand data.
【Results】 The results indicate that microbial agents have demonstrated significant effectiveness in soil improvement, crop cultivation, and fruit tree cultivation. For instance, in experiments conducted in heavily saline-alkali cotton fields in Southern Xinjiang, they effectively increased seedling emergence rates while reducing soil pH and total salt content. They achieved yield increases and quality improvements in various crops such as cotton and wheat. In the fruit tree industry, they improved the soil ecological environment and enhanced fruit yield and quality. However, several challenges persist in the promotion and application process, including insufficient farmer awareness, non-standardized technical application, inconsistent product quality, inadequate promotion service systems, and relatively high costs.
【Conclusion】 Therefore, promotion strategies are proposed, including strengthening publicity and training, improving the quality supervision system, perfecting the promotion service system, increasing policy support, and enhancing industry-university-research collaboration. They are expected to further expand the scope and scale of microbial agent applications in Xinjiang's characteristic agriculture and fully leverage their vital role in promoting the sustainable development of this sector.
