Abstract:
【Objective】 This study aims to analyze the current status and global positioning of the cumin industry in Southern Xinjiang, identifying the major constraints faced by its development, and exploring sustainable development pathways enabled by technological empowerment to promote local economic growth.
【Methods】 The research evaluates the natural advantages of the Southern Xinjiang production area, the upgrading of cultivation techniques, and the effectiveness of technological applications.By combining the global market structure and industrial bottlenecks, the study thoroughly analyzes the weaknesses of the cumin industry and proposes systematic solutions.
【Results】 The study finds that technological advancements have significantly improved cumin yield and quality; however, the fragmentation of the industrial chain, insufficient technological innovation, and the underdevelopment of deep processing remain the core issues that constrain industrial upgrading and global competitiveness, requiring urgent breakthroughs.
【Conclusion】 To achieve sustainable development and enhance global competitiveness, four strategic approaches need to be implemented: strengthening policy support, accelerating technological innovation, deepening processing capabilities, and integrating the industrial chain.
