Abstract:
Objective Aiming at the phenomenon of high impurity rate of plate pepper harvester, a kind of roller group type cleaning and separation device of plate pepper harvester was designed, which is composed of alternating arrangement and combination of back Dial wheel composed of rubber material.
Methods Through the mechanical analysis of the contact process between the Dial wheel and the plate pepper stem, the dial roller speed and the dial roller group inclination angle were determined as the test factors, and the plate pepper contains impurity rate of roller group type cleaning and separation device and clearance loss rate of roller group type cleaning and separation device were used as the evaluation index. The discrete element cleaning simulation model of the plate pepper particles was established by EDEM, and the orthogonal rotation combined simulation test was designed. The experimental results were analyzed by the trend of the response surface between the factors, and the data were optimized by Design-Expert 12.
Results The simulation results show that the optimization index is as follows: under the condition of the dial roller speed of 124.397 r/min and the dial roller group inclination angle of 5.45°, the plate pepper contains impurity rate of roller group type cleaning and separation device is 10.72% and clearance loss rate of roller group type cleaning and separation device is 4.34%.
Conclusion Dial roller speed 124 r/min and dial roller group inclination angle 5°, the plate pepper contains impurity rate is 11.21% and plate pepper loss rate is 4.27%. The research results of roller group type cleaning and separation device are of great significance to solve the problem of high impurity rate of plate pepper harvester in China.
