Abstract: 【Objective】 To comprehensively summarize and analyze the practice and effectiveness of Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences in institution-local cooperation, and to put forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions for the problems existing in the cooperation. 【Methods】 The scientific and technological cooperation between Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences and local governments in the past two years was collected and summarized and analyzed by means of consulting data, telephone interview and field investigation. 【Results】 Since 2022, Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences has promoted the deep integration of its discipline teams with the agricultural industry development in prefectures, counties and cities of the autonomous region, built a new mode of agricultural science and technology cooperation between scientific research institutes and local governments, and made positive contributions to the development of Xinjiang's agricultural industry. 【Conclusion】 In the process of scientific and technological cooperation and exchange between the university and the place, it is necessary to closely combine the actual needs of the local agricultural industry, build a whole chain of scientific and technological support team, and open the talents exchange system of the university and the place.
