Abstract:
【Objective】 To investigate the effects of high temperature treatment before germination on the seed germination of
Haloxylon ammodendron, and discuss the effects of high temperature on the germination of
H. ammodendron seedlings.
【Method】 The main materials of
H. ammodendron, a desert plant of Xinjiang were used as experimental materials. Before germination, they were treated with 5 high temperatures (46, 49, 52, 55 and 58℃) and 6 times (6, 9, 12, 15, 18 and 21 min).
【Result】 Different high temperature and time treatments had significant effects on the germination rate, germination potential, germination index, and vigor index of
H. ammodendron, and the interactions between them had significant effects. The seed germination rate increased with the treatment temperature and time. The germination power, germination index and vigor index all increased first and then decreased. High temperature treatment had some inhibition on seed germination.
【Conclusion】 (1) When the temperature is 52℃ and the time is 9 min, the germination rate of
H. ammodendron seeds is the highest (55.00±0.30)%, the temperature is 58℃, the germination rate is 0.00% when the time is 9min; (2) Storage at 4℃ There was no obvious thermal shock effect on
H. ammodendron seeds after 6 months. (3) There was no direct relationship between the degradation of
H. ammodendron and the germination rate of
H. ammodendron seeds.
